A canzone form poetry depicting the love story of the underworld king Hades and the daughter of Zeus Persephone. Here goes the poetry:
Let me surprise thee with my hidden scars,
On my reddened soul, so barren like thou.
Let thy eyes drizzle on my sallow skin,
Let those lips taste the nectar thou desire,
Humming tunes to rivet thine acuity,
Brewing witchy tangles on thy pious mind,
I’m the Satan of thy dreams, charming like dove,
I’m the devil king fallen into thy love.
Sinking with me into this luscious abyss,
Let this be thy black hole with chronic allure,
Let me be the celestial unknown of thee,
Let thy be the meteor falling to my world.
With intense heat smouldering us; so fiery,
I’m the twilight sparkling bright into thine life,
I’m no prince, taking thee on a white unicorn
I’m thine Hades, thou are my Persephone.
